Hey.  It's been ages!  I'm thinking about closing this or just not coming back, so if you'd like to stay in touch, look me up on facebook.

Hope all is well with everyone!  Catch ya on the flip side.

Wow, it's been forever since I've updated.  This year has been ... shall we say a mixture of feelings and events.  I have been learning, or maybe re-learning, a lot!  I've grown closer to my new friends and have made several more.  I went to Ft. Myers with the His House group over spring break and it was AmAzInG!!!  I can't say it enough!! There was 60 of us and we spent the week serving people around the area.  I didn't get a chance to work at Habitat for Humanity (that always filled up the fastest).  Maybe next year, but I did do my fair share of mulching and painting.  Some weeding, too.  I experienced a break through that week.  I was given a huge push in an area I have been struggling with for most my life, which is not letting my fears keep me back from what I really want to do.  I knew going into the week that I was going to experience new things and be around new people.  Usually these things tend to hinder my ability to be my true self, but I was determined to be myself and not let my fears and insecurities get in my way.  It was soo liberating!!!  My pictures are up on facebook.  If you have an account, look me up.  I'm on facebook more than anything...

I hope everyone is doing well!  Enjoy your weeks!

Guess it's time for an update.  I have 3 days left of classes and next week is exams.  Yay!  The end of the semester is in sight!!   I may stick around through next weekend before coming home.  Maybe hang out with whoever's still in town or something.  I'm anxious to see what happens in the next couple weeks....

It sure is great making new friends!  I've meet a lot of people at His House and I'm beginning to become close friends with some of them.  They are a great group of people!  I'm joining them on their annual trip to Fort Meyers over spring break to work with organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Echo.  Not sure what all we're doing, but it will be great!  Exhausting, but great!

Umm... let's see... what else....  Something exciting has happened but I'm not at liberty to say yet.  I know that just made you all curious... but I don't feel like explaining everything.

Oh!  I went with some friends this last Sat. to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.  I had tons of fun!  It was great!  Caught in a snow/rain/ice storm on the way home, but whatever.  It was great fun!!  : )

Sometimes I wish I could turn on an automatic tunnel vision mode. I have tons of homework I should be doing. I'm mostly worried about my presentation, but I have so much spinning around in my head. I can't find my zone. I can't concentrate. Of course, it doesn't help that I don't want to do my homework, but that's just another thought floating around up there. Where's the easy button when you need it? Or a wrinkle in time. Oh well, what's the use delaying the inevitable? Back to work....

If you don't count spanish, I think this is going to be a good year.  I'm making new friends and getting involved at His House.  Most my classes are at least fairly interesting.  Still sometimes boring to sit through, but more interesting than last semester.  Tonight was Together Tuesday at His House.  It was kinda like a fair for the small groups and ministry teams so everyone can find out about them and sign up for info.  Our life group sign up page was all full but one line!  It's so exciting!  We can't wait for our first meeting.  It will have to wait til next week, because I'm coming home this weekend.

I can feel it inside.  It's going to be a wonderful year!
